It’s finally that time of year, after Black Friday and Cyber Monday we are finally on the verge of Christmas party season. They kick off in earnest this weekend, after last years fantastic Christmas party fun we are excited to host even more party nights this year. All seven party nights are fully sold out now and the Ryan Room our purpose built meeting room is looking extremely festive. We have a mulled wine reception, and our famous “Selfie Mirror” on arrival, then our magician will be entertaining the crowds before they tuck into their delicious three course meal and then dance the night away to all the best Christmas classics.

Galway Women's Football Club

Oranmore Maree are on quiet a run at the moment, after having to wait until the ninth game of the season to pick up their first win in an epic encounter against DCU with a last gasp 102-100 victory. Since that they won a crucial battle with the KUBS on a 58-71 score line to put breathing spaces between the two sides.

Last weekend the Oranmore men faced Eanna and emerged with a 10 point victory, leaving them on 9 points in the table and without touching distance of a number of teams just above them.

Let’s hope the run continues when they take on Belfast Star on December 9th at home.

Keep up to date with all the fixtures and match reports here.
